HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Application Administrator - Engineering Applications to manage, maintain, and optimize critical engineering and business applications that support product development and operations.In this role, you’ll be responsible for administering enterprise applications across Windows, Linux, and AWS environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, security, and availability. You’ll partner with engineering, IT, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments, license management, cloud migrations, and ongoing operational improvements.The ideal candidate has strong experience administering applications in both Windows and Linux environments, a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure, and a background supporting engineering applications and tools.As a Application Administrator - Engineering Applications, you'll:Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain application software across Windows and Linux server environments.Monitor application health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve complex production incidents.Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and application architecture documentation.Manage user access, security permissions, authentication, and application-specific configurations.Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventative solutions.Manage software licensing, monitor license utilization, and provide usage metrics to business stakeholders.Coordinate application-related infrastructure changes with internal teams and external vendors.Participate in planning and execution efforts to migrate on-premises applications to AWS-based environments.Support application integrations, upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational best practices.Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure application reliability and scalability.
