HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Autonomy Systems Test Engineer to help accelerate product development by ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of autonomous driving software.In this role, you’ll support the development and execution of test plans for autonomous driving features, help improve simulation-based testing workflows, and assist with the analysis of software behavior across offline and on-vehicle testing environments. You’ll work closely with software, systems, and QA teams to investigate issues, validate new functionality, and help ensure software quality continues to scale alongside future product milestones.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build expertise in autonomous systems testing. They enjoy solving technical problems, working with data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.As a Autonomy Systems Test Engineer, you'll:Support the development and execution of test plans for autonomous driving and self-driving behavior features.Assist with the design and implementation of simulation-based test scenarios and validation workflows.Execute synthetic and log-based test scenarios using in-house simulation platforms and testing frameworks.Analyze test results to identify regressions, investigate failures, and validate software functionality across releases.Help develop and improve automated testing methodologies and validation metrics.Assist with triage activities by gathering, analyzing, and communicating findings from multiple testing platforms and validation pipelines.Collaborate with software, systems, and QA teams to identify, track, and resolve testing and validation issues.Contribute to QA initiatives and process improvements that support scalable testing and validation efforts.
