Datacenter Maintenance Auditor
Location: Orangeburg, NY / Dayton, NJ/ Totowa, NJ, Piscataway, NJ (Candidates Should be flexible to work onsite at one of these locations depending on the client's need at the time of Job offer, Rotational )
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Locals/ Willing to relocate candidates ; Onsite

Data Center Maintenance Auditor (Contract)
Data Centers are at the heart of client's technologies, which produce, distribute and protect some of the most critical and valuable data in global business. The Hardware Services team is dedicated to ensure a smooth end-to-end process for data center activities. In this role you will be expected to work with our various server vendors to audit maintenance coverage for all assets globally. You will be expected to perform physical audits to reconcile asset location data within the 4 Enterprise Data Centers. You will also be expected to work with smart hands remotely around the world to assist with asset reconciliation. The overall goal of this position is to get a 100% accuracy of assets to ensure the fleet is covered by a maintenance agreement.
We'll trust you to:
Audit global server vendor maintenance coverage and reconcile discrepancies
Perform audits within the four (4) Enterprise Data Centers to validate presence, serial numbers, and location accuracy
Document audit findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions utilizing our asset management system
Escalate uncovered or unsupported assets
Collaborate with Hardware Services stakeholders to continuously improve audit processes and ensure end-to-end alignment
Report audit outcomes, asset reconciliation progress, and compliance metrics to senior management
You'll need to have:
A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
Strong skills with Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, & Excel
Working knowledge of JIRA, Grafana, Humio, or other virtualization tools
Ability to work independently and in a team while prioritizing workloads
Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to educate and influence team members to help continually moving the team’s skill set forward
Senior Project management experience
We’d love to see:
Hands-on experience with server and network hardware out-of-band environments
Hands on experience across a multitude of compute, storage, and network hardware platforms
CompTIA A , NET , and/- Interest in learning new technologies
Exposure to basic programming or scripting
Exposure with data analytics in a similar role
