Project Drafter - Phoenix, AZ $20-$22/hr with Full Benefits Paid
Job Summary
Under supervision by the Drafting Project Manager, perform the essential functions of Project Drafter using AutoCAD, creating preliminary plots, calc sheets, post-tension cable layouts and other structural details as designed by engineers.
Responsibilities
- Drafts structural details as designed by engineers.
- Enter all engineering information and markups into the CAD system.
- Revise plans per Engineer's field fixes.
- Meet project deadlines and general schedule defined by Drafting Project Manager
- Prepare changes on plans for as-built revisions, building department corrections, and client revisions.
- Create calculation key sheets for engineering Team.
- Create post-tension cable layouts per engineering design criteria.
Requirements
- Professional CAD education and 1 year CAD experience
- Or, HS plus 2 years experience in CAD operations
- Intermediate understanding/use of AutoCAD
- Team player with positive attitude
- Ability to work 4-1/2 days onsite in north PHX
Salary : $20 - $22
