JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Assistant supports receiving, inventory, warehouse, and material handling activities to ensure the smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This role assists Production and R&D teams by helping maintain inventory accuracy, staging materials for production, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, moving materials between buildings, and maintaining organized warehouse areas. The Supply Chain Assistant plays a key support role in daily warehouse and supply chain operations while following company safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform receiving duties including unloading inbound shipments, verifying received materials, stocking inventory, and reporting damaged or missing items.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility.
• Assist with staging and distributing materials to Production and R&D departments to support daily operations.
• Accurately document shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse activities in company systems and logs.
• Load and unload trucks and support shipping/receiving activities as needed.
• Assist with inventory management activities including cycle counts and inventory organization.
• Transport materials and supplies between buildings and warehouse locations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional warehouse or supply chain tasks as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 30% of the time, including sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to frequently lift up-to 50 pounds. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
• Move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.
• Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
• Must be able to read and manually conduct inspection processes and procedures with provided tools.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
