What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Howmet Aerospace?
Responsible for moving and placing parts and materials ready for processing and storage.

Removes and weighting chips.
Loads and unloads trucks.
Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order
Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines
Reports any problems observed to supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or machine malfunctions, etc
Produces daily production reports as directed by supervisor
Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Minimum six months experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of all metal alloys required.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES
Ability to drive a forklift, and powered industrial equipment.
SALARY RANGE
$21.00/hr - $24.00/hr
