CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATESchedule: M-F 830 am – 5 pmLocation: San Dimas, CADuties and Responsibilities:Responds professionally and effectively to all types of customer inquiries and service requests via multiple channels of customer contact and according toCompany and regulatory performance standards across all customer service areasCreates and accesses customer records, researches, and navigates efficiently through the Customer Information System (CIS) to resolve customer complaints and account discrepanciesAssists customers with online customer self-service and electronic payment portal system access, navigation, and resolving technical issuesProcesses customer payments accurately and prepares cashiers reports and depositsProcesses new customer applications and renewals for a variety of programsDispatches service and trouble calls accurately and timely to field service personnelPerforms other duties as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentFive years of customer service experience in a professional environmentFamiliarity with utility or comparable service industry, contact center systems and customer information system terminologyMust be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Windows, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and InternetMust be able to read and interpret documents such as regulations, procedure manuals, and rate schedules, etc.Must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize assignments and work in order of urgency and sensitivityAbility to perform basic mathematic functions, calculate figures, and reconcile account informationCompany DescriptionWe're not just a staffing company - we're a people company.
