CNC MACHINIST - 1ST SHIFT
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC mill and lathe machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of shop math and machining practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to machine precision metal parts.
- Load programs, set tooling, and adjust offsets to ensure proper machine operation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
- Make machine adjustments and minor program edits as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Maintain machines, tooling, and work area in a safe and organized condition.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing goals.
