The role:
The Senior Recruiter will support client hiring managers with filling their campus / early careers hiring demand. They are responsible for ensuring all quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs are met.
The role includes planning and executing campus recruitment activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience, working in conjunction with onsite and offshore campus colleagues.
The Senior Recruiter will work closely with the Team Lead (TL), Manager (CSM), Senior Manager (SM), recruiters & coordinators to ensure high-quality recruitment services and a smooth recruitment process.
Key accountabilities:
Client Stakeholder Relationships
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with hiring managers/stakeholders, delivering end-to-end campus recruitment services, offering counsel, and ensuring timelines are met.
- Lead attraction strategy discussions with TL, CSM/SM, and Head of Early Careers/Junior Talent, tailoring approaches to market and hiring needs.
- Partner with TL, CSM/SM to strengthen internal/external stakeholder relationships through regular engagement.
Internal Stakeholder Relationships
- Monitor recruitment funnel metrics with Philippines/Poland teams to identify and address bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with CoE teams to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience.
- Coach recruiters and coordinators on best practices and client culture.
- Act as key contact for CSM/SM reporting needs.
Recruitment Delivery
- Deliver recruitment services per contractual obligations and SLAs.
- Lead vacancy consultations with TL/CSM/SM to define recruitment plans and document outcomes.
- Work with campus teams to provide high-quality shortlists and manage assessment centres.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience from interview to start date.
- Support hiring decisions, lead offer processes, and close candidates.
- Address stakeholder issues proactively and escalate when needed.
- Share best practices from other teams to enhance delivery.
- Contribute to projects beyond direct remit and recommend continuous improvements.
Technology and Compliance
- Maintain accurate, real-time updates in systems and trackers.
- Flag scope creep to support contractual management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and AMS Risk Management Framework.
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of end-to-end recruitment delivery with preferred expertise in early careers and campus
- Understanding of campus marketing and attraction strategies (e.g. events, networking, social media and university relations)
- Experience of using recruitment technology
- Working knowledge of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors, OFCCP)
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation
- Experience of working with remote teams
- Experience of using databases
- Additional language skills
- Demonstrate interest in learning about the broader market, industry to be able to build network and provide great market insights to client and different workstreams
