Toddler Teacher (Full-time)

Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | 7:00 AM–5:45 PM | Rotating Weekday Off

Must be available to work full-time within the 7:00 AM–5:45 PM Monday–Friday schedule. This position works four 10-hour days each week with a rotating weekday off.

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive, responsive, and nurturing care for toddlers ages 18 months–3 years.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons and activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Conduct child assessments, document developmental progress, and use observations to support individual learning needs.
• Provide hands-on care, including diapering, toileting, feeding, nap routines, hygiene, dressing, and age-appropriate self-care.
• Safely lift, carry, and physically assist young children as needed throughout the day.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers, and communicate children's progress and individual needs with families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom while following licensing requirements and maintaining required documentation.
• Support children's health, safety, well-being, and growing independence throughout the day.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare/preschool setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Experience or strong interest in lesson planning, child observation, and developmental assessment.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and providing hands-on care.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and able to respond calmly to the changing needs of toddlers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt activities and interactions to meet individual children's needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
