Business Field Service Technician

Looking to take your field service experience to the next level? As a Business Field Service Technician, you’ll work directly with commercial customers to install, troubleshoot, and maintain the technology they rely on every day. You’ll install and service internet equipment and VoIP phones, set up networking equipment, troubleshoot issues on-site, and help keep businesses connected and running smoothly. Your Role:

• Install and service internet, VOIP, any services provided by Amplex Electric, and equipment including but not limited to: Wireless SM's, Fiber ONT's, Microtik routers, SIP/ VoIP phones, ATA's, PA's, and Ubiquiti Wireless Access Points.
• Mount equipment to businesses. Run outdoor and indoor cable though walls, crawl spaces, attics and basements properly and neatly.
• Assist customers in configuring computers, POS systems, phones, router, and/or other equipment for internet service.
• Travel to business sites to assist with site surveys, deploy new services, and as needed to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, explaining services, and ensuring customers have a positive experience
• Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Collect and submit accurate documents and money collected.
• Present a positive professional image to customers at all times.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Pay: $26/hour, paid bi-weekly
• Some on-call and weekend work may occasionally be necessary
• Year-round, steady work

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in service, outdoor labor, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
