Job Summary:
The Planning & Development Project Manager provides project coordination and administrative support to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of departmental projects. This role works closely with leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication while supporting healthcare development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation through completion

Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership

Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, schedules, and documentation

Coordinate meetings, facilitate stakeholder communication, and prepare progress reports

Monitor project progress, quality standards, and budget performance
-
Support RFP processes and coordinate consultants and vendors as needed
-
Maintain accurate project records, financial tracking, and reporting
-
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
-
Provide cross-functional administrative support, including HRSA systems and contract-related work

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in project management, administration, or healthcare operations preferred

Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience coordinating stakeholders, meetings, and reporting

Knowledge of healthcare management principles preferred

Proficiency with office systems and project documentation tools

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field is required, with increased responsibility in project coordination/management experience.
- Knowledge, skills, abilities
- Proven experience in managing complex projects up to completion is required.
- Knowledge of project management, timelines, deadlines, and follow-through on finished projects.
- Proficiency in the use of computers for:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Visio
- Microsoft Project Management
