Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a technically-minded, hands-on Training Coordinator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The key responsibilities of this Training Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- As determined by objectives, goals, and strategies, deliver both hands-on land classroom training / instruction.
- Procure, design, and administer training programs for machinists, inspectors, assemblers, and other personnel in accordance with all applicable industry workmanship standards to optimize efficiency of operations and minimize risks.
- Assess training needs through job analysis and consultations with managers.
- Design and implement learning strategies and programs, including LMS courses, hands-on workshops, and other training sessions as needed.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements to ensure they meet organizational goals.
- Work with managers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions.
- Schedule all training events for individual, small, and large group trainings.
- Maintain an annual training calendar.
- Maintain employee training records.

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience related to instructional design, adult learning theory, training techniques or 2 years learning and development experience preferably in the aerospace manufacturing industry
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing workmanship standards highly desired
- Strong preference for someone with knowledge of AS9100 QMS standards, IPC/WHMA 620, IPC J-STD 001, IPC 610 Inspection of Solder Joints
- Experience speaking in front of small and large groups required.
- Competency in Blue-Print and schematic reading is required.
- Competency with hand measuring equipment is required.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and 5S required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Effective time management and organizational skills required.
- Excellent computer skills and analytical abilities required..
