The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Metrology Inspector to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The key responsibilities of this Metrology Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Summarize quality control data on the computer and report results to supervisor
- Perform in process checks (IPC's)
- Document nonconforming product and accept resulting rework
- Perform calibration and capability studies for new machines
- Assist production personnel in its manufacture
- Perform AS9102 FAI's and complete related documentation
- Support calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, and gauges used for product acceptance or verification/validation
- Mesa, AZ
- 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in equal or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CMM experience applying GD&T or other optical measuring systems
- Strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques and use of measurement equipment
- Vision acuity 20/25 (with or without corrective lenses), must pass the annual eye exam
