They also offer preventative maintenance, equipment sourcing, CMM inspections, automation and programming, measurement technical support, calibration recall system management, and performance tracking dashboards.

Metrology Technician II will provide day to day support for the Metrology Program Calibrating IMTE and guiding workflow with other technicians. Technician will be able to coordinate calibrations in house and out to vendors.
This position is for the swing shift: 2pm - 10pm.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counter, timers, oscilloscopes, pressure devices.
- Calibrate standards used in calibrations and maintain equipment to established performance standards.
- Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate reports on results of tests, conditions of equipment and/or systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed, and prepare necessary documentation as required by customer and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma with 3 years of experience in the field, OR associate’s degree in engineering technology or a relevant field with 3 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency, signal conditioning, blueprint and drawings, dimensional tooling and hand tools, pressure controllers, pressure dead weight testers, force gages and load cells, etc.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
- US citizenship is required for this role
- Ability to work swing shift from 2pm - 10pm.
- IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus .
- Proficient using Microsoft technology, including Excel
- PMEL, TMDE or calibration school a plus
- Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
