Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The key responsibilities of this Quality Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMA’s
- Product review, assist quality engineering with disposition, containment and work orders
- Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data
- Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual
- Determine rework and process work orders
- Review of rejection trends
- Sidney, NY
- 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
- 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY
The Person
The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- High school diploma and at least 5 years of applicable experience OR an associate degree in a technical curriculum and 1 year of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment required
- Familiarity with quote and order processing preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Data3 software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with customer via phone and email
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents
- Attention to detail
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, etc. daily
- An annual eye exam must be passed with or without corrective lenses
