Quality Technician - Establishes quality assurance processes, software utilization, programming and planning. Precision mechanical inspection to defined requirements.
The QI supports the overall strategic direction for achieving world class quality levels as measured by our customers. This includes implementing the defined CFM Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities -
Must be proficient on MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Responsibility and ownership of all customer quality requirements to ensure a complete understanding of their quality needs and issues, and ensure their expectations are met consistently.
Utlizes Solidworks Inspection software to create AS9102 First Articles.
Programs automatic CMM using PC-DMIS and creates a saves inspection reports.
Programs Keyence inspections scope.
Precision mechanical inspection on first pieces, in process and final inspection.
Must be proficient in GD&T to interpret drawings and standards utilizing ASME Y14.5.
Must perform inspections on limited dimension drawings (DPD).
Ensure all suppliers meet the necessary quality assurance and certification requirements as defined by company purchase orders.
Assist with internal and external quality audits as required
Work closely with the management team in resolving production quality issues and ensure quality procedures are accurate and updated as appropriate
Ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment are operating properly and are calibrated, if required
Support manufacturing initiatives as required
Reports nonconforming materials and products
Support customer relations activities as related to quality and reliability aimed at achieving total customer confidence and satisfaction
Promote and sustain a CFM-wide culture of continuous improvement
Work Experience -
Three (3) years experience in quality inspection with main concentration in assuring quality and reliability.
