Quality Technician

• The Role**Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a **Quality Technician** to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in **Sidney, NY**.The key responsibilities of this **Quality Technician**include, but are not limited to:-
  
  

Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMA's-

Product review, assist quality engineering with disposition, containment and work orders-

Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data-

Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual-

Determine rework and process work orders-

Review of rejection trends**Location**-

30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY-

20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY**Salary: $42,000 - $65,000****The Person**The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:-

High school diploma and at least 5 years of applicable experience OR an associate degree in a technical curriculum and 1 year of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment required-

Familiarity with quote and order processing preferred-

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Data3 software-

Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with customer via phone and email-

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents-

Attention to detail-

Proactive problem solving skills-

Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, etc. daily-
