School Nurse – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Full Time | Spanaway, WA | 2025–2026 School Year | 1-1 Support | ASAP start date
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a 1-1 Nurse for the rest of the 2025–2026 school year in Spanaway, Washington. This is a full-time, in-person position serving district-wide. Job Highlights:
- Location: Spanaway, WA
- Position: School Nurse (LPN): 1-1 support
- High School student in a wheelchair. Skills needed: Trach, G tube, and Transfer on school bus.
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Setting: School Setting
- Start Date: April 1 through the end of the school year; strong likelihood to continue next school year
- In-person only
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State LPN license (DOH)
- G-tube and suctioning experience
- Trach experience
- Pediatric experience
- Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
