Job Title: Practice Coordinator
Location(s): Brisbane, CA
Position Summary:
The Practice Coordinator will provide high-quality administrative and patient service support in a call center environment. The role involves managing patient calls, coordinating appointments, and ensuring excellent customer service while navigating multiple patient record systems efficiently.
- Answer approximately 50 calls per day (current staff average ~35 calls).
- Schedule appointments, update patient records, and verify insurance information.
- Handle inquiries related to clinic services and patient needs.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in patient communications and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Education/Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent with four (4) years of related experience, or
- College degree with at least six (6) months of related experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Experience with at least two Office-type programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Proven ability to navigate multiple patient record systems.
- Comfortable working at a computer terminal using a telephone headset for extended periods.
- First Priority: Fully compliant and APeX-trained candidates.
- Second Priority: APeX-trained and partially compliant candidates.
- Third Priority: Previously worked at UCSF, not compliant.
- Last Priority: Meets job qualifications but not APeX-trained or compliant.
