Position Overview
The Lead Budtender role is critical to the success of our Budtender team. The Lead Budtender will assist the Dispensary Leadership team in ensuring strong operational integrity, ensuring customers receive exceptional service, and supporting the Budtender team with bump-ups as needed. Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, leadership, and regulatory compliance are all critical qualities to being successful in the Lead Budtender position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Act as the Floor Supervisor when performing opening/closing duties
· Assist leadership team in ensuring daily Dispensary tasks are completed
· Prepare daily cash deposits and balance cash drawers
· Assist with inventory functions, such as manifesting product between licenses, inventory audits, and maintenance functions.
· Be a point of contact for customer escalations and staff bump-ups
· Report any personnel escalations to leadership team as needed
· Ensure all guests feel welcome and have a great experience at AMP
· Desire to learn about our products and their effects to help guide and assist customers
· Be efficient with customers, making them feel welcomed while ensuring the line is moving as quickly as possible
· Any time away from the point of sale should be spent restocking, and making sure the store is tidy
· Ability to deal with problems and resolve issues in a professional manner
· Cash handling
· Be on time and fully present during work hours
· Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures & METRC Regulations
· Adhere to company standards including maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
· All other job duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
· High school diploma
· Two years of customer service experience
· Applicants must be 21 years old
· Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
· Team-oriented
· Desired work ethic includes being detail oriented, highly organized, positive, enthusiastic, eager to learn and a good communicator
