Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces across various facilities.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to support facilities maintenance.
- Support maintenance activities by reporting repairs or hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
- Use commercial cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting or light repairs to enhance the overall upkeep of the property.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general custodial duties.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation ensures efficient work performance.
