Lead strategic marketing and communications across Penn Highlands Healthcare as the next System Director of Marketing & Public Relations in picturesque Pennsylvania!

The Position

• The System Director, Marketing & Public Relations, will provide strategic leadership in developing and executing innovative marketing and public relations initiatives that support the growth and expansion of the organization's service lines.
• Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, this leader will oversee a team of eight direct reports.
• Key priorities include evaluating and enhancing internal communication strategies, expanding the organization's digital and social media presence, leveraging AI-driven marketing opportunities, and developing targeted campaigns that increase awareness and growth of priority service lines, including Behavioral Health and Emergency Services.
• The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated healthcare marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires minimal direction. They will possess exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, a passion for coaching and developing emerging talent, and a strategic vision for enhancing the organization's brand, employee engagement, digital presence, and service line growth through innovative marketing solutions and emerging technologies such as AI.
• This is a full time, onsite position. No option for remote or hybrid work.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, public relations, and/or fundraising is required in a hospital setting, preferably system level.
