Interim SPD Manager Needed in Augusta, Georgia!

The Position

• An Interim SPD Manager is needed to provide leadership and operational support for the Sterile Processing Department.
• Reporting to the Director, this leader will oversee 34 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include organizing the team, providing education on correct instrument assembly, improving decontamination practices, addressing bio burden and missing instrument or assembly issues, correcting identified deficiencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting with floor work when needed.
• The ideal candidate will have strong SPD management experience, knowledge of regulatory standards, and the ability to drive culture change while remaining organized and approachable. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $155,000 - $165,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
