The Position

• The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
• Reporting to the Director of Finance, this leader will oversee a team of five direct reports.
• This manager will collaborate with IT and HR teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and will assist in resolving payroll disputes. Additional responsibilities include cross-departmental collaboration to support broader financial functions such as accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• The ideal candidate is an experienced payroll specialist with a friendly, team-oriented demeanor. They should be curious, motivated, and a solutions-driven leader with prior supervisory experience. Strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Experience collaborating with an ONA contract is highly preferred.
• This position is fully onsite with no option for remote or hybrid work.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of progressive financial experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
