Interim Director Quality Ethics & Compliance Needed in San Leandro, California!

The Position

• An Interim Director Quality Ethics & Compliance is needed to lead the hospital's quality improvement, ethics, compliance, and regulatory readiness programs while driving continuous performance improvement initiatives.
• The position will report to the Regional Compliance Director.
• Key responsibilities include leading quality improvement and regulatory compliance programs, overseeing accreditation and survey readiness, managing risk and performance improvement initiatives, supporting physician quality processes, and serving as the facility's Ethics & Compliance Officer.
• The ideal candidate will have recent director-level quality leadership experience in an acute care hospital, preferably in an LTAC setting, with expertise in regulatory compliance, survey readiness, performance improvement, and physician quality processes. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• BSN required; master's degree preferred.
• Active California RN license required. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of recent Director of Quality Management experience in a hospital setting, preferably in an LTAC environment.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
