Interim Director of Quality Needed in Modesto, CA!

The Position

• An Interim Director of Quality is needed to lead quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation efforts at a 250 bed hospital.
• Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee eight direct reports.
• Key responsibilities include driving quality initiatives such as reducing pressure injuries, CLABSI, and CAUTI rates, improving throughput, and ensuring the organization remains survey-ready.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. Experience working with medical staff is preferred. Must be transparent, honest, and able to adapt quickly to team feedback and needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• RN license preferred but not required.
• Previous healthcare experience required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
