Executive Director Home Health and Hospice

Lead and elevate Home Health and Hospice services as the next Executive Director at a Magnet-designated medical center in Southern California!
- The Executive Director, Home Health and Hospice, is responsible for the overall management, development, operations, and evaluation of Home Health and Hospice services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Reporting to the Vice President of Continuum Care and the Chief Quality Officer, this leader will oversee three direct reports and approximately 170 FTEs.
- This leader will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff at all levels, coaching on best practices, and strengthening overall team performance. Additionally, this individual will support the transitions of care initiative, with a focus on reducing hospital readmissions, and serve as a key partner to the IPA team.
- Ideal candidates will bring deep clinical and operational expertise in home health and hospice, preferably within an agency setting. This individual will be a transformational, servant leader with a hands-on approach, high emotional intelligence, and strong executive presence.
- BSN and a Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field required.
- Active RN license required.
- National certification as a Home Health Manager, OASIS, or ANCC certification in a relevant specialty must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Minimum of five years of home health experience required; hospice experience preferred, along with at least three years of leadership experience.
- The base salary range for this position is $237,000 to $330,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
