Sr. Accountant, External Reporting

Position Summary:

We are seeking a high-energy, Senior Accountant, External Reporting to join our Tempe, AZ, corporate offices. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the process for SEC filings and conducting technical research in a great team environment. This position is poised for progression and growth, with opportunities to manage processes and interface with global finance and cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in 10-K/10-Q filing process, including preparing footnote disclosures
• Interface with internal and external auditors and provide explanations as needed
• Assist in providing guidance on accounting issues to our foreign finance teams• Conduct research, document and implement conclusions regarding technical accounting treatment for non-routine transactions and new accounting pronouncements
• Participate in certain aspects of the monthly close process
• Participate in implementation and testing of new technologies and transformation projects

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA required; candidates who have successfully passed at least two (2) CPA exam sections and are actively pursuing certification will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years experience with a public accounting firm servicing public clients or equivalent in a large publicly traded company. Other relevant experience or advanced education such as a Master's Degree may be considered. The ideal candidate must:

• Possess strong US GAAP technical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Big Four public accounting experience is preferred
• Previous semiconductor industry experience is desired

Location:

Tempe, AZ. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
