Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated PRW to join our team under the supervision of the PRS Program Director. The role involves implementing psychiatric rehabilitation services using an approved rehabilitation model. Responsibilities include structured activities such as role play, modeling, teaching skills, helping participants set and achieve personal goals, and documenting program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement structured activities to support living, learning, working, and socializing roles
  • Assist participants in identifying goals through strength and needs assessments
  • Teach skills to help individuals achieve personal goals
  • Help individuals identify barriers and develop action plans
  • Maintain data for measuring program outcomes

Educational Requirements (One of the Following):

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent two years work experience in human services, which must include one year of mental health direct care experience
  • Certified Peer Specialist one additional year paid or volunteer work experience
  • Associate’s Degree one year work experience in mental health direct service
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and fully insurable
  • Clear drug screening
  • Undergo PA State, Child Welfare, and FBI Clearances
  • Personal experience with recovery related to mental health and/or addiction, with the ability to draw from that experience in a professional setting

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and provide nonjudgmental support
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set boundaries, and work flexibly in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to overcome cultural differences and enjoys diversity
  • Demonstrate effective listening, ability to break down problems into smaller components, build on successes, and minimize failures

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
