Key Responsibilities
- Install according to plans and specifications
- Set up and operate lasers and transits
- Assist with excavation layout, trenching, bedding and backfilling
- Ensure proper pipe alignment, slope, and elevation
- Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations
- Work collaboratively with equipment operators and crew members
- Perform related duties as required.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
- Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs.
- Communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize.
