Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop areas
- Assist with moving vehicles and equipment around the yard
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, pressure washing, and trash removal
- Monitor inventory of shop supplies and notify supervisor of shortages
- Support mechanics with tool and equipment setup
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a yard or maintenance role is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts, pressure washers, and other shop equipment (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
- Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
