Location: Remote eligible or San Diego, CA
Duration: 3 months (contract)
Must-Have Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, healthcare-related discipline, information management, or data science
- 5 years of experience in healthcare, product management, or project management
- 5 years of experience with data systems and business intelligence tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Alteryx, SAP, Salesforce)
- 5 years of commercial experience in program management or product management
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
Job Description:
The Global Product Manager – PLM & Launch Excellence is responsible for managing the enterprise-level Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process across a complex portfolio of hardware, software, and third-party solutions. This role supports the transition from legacy technologies to modern platforms while enabling new product launches and international market expansions. The position works cross-functionally to drive lifecycle planning, analytics, end-of-life execution, and launch excellence in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end, cross-platform product lifecycle activities across hardware, software, and third-party solutions.
- Lead and prioritize product lifecycle (PLC) projects aligned with enterprise frameworks.
- Optimize in-market solution value while ensuring customer compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives, track progress, and report status
- Facilitate PLM program and governance reviews.
- Implement and evolve PLM best practices aligned with systems engineering, portfolio management, marketing, and supply chain.
- Develop sustainable and repeatable PLM processes and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Finance, Regional Marketing, R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and third-party partners to support product sustaining and retirement strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM or healthcare-related field.
- 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Advanced experience with business intelligence and analytics tools.
- Commercial experience in product or program management.
- Knowledge of regulated healthcare environments.
Additional Qualifications:
- General knowledge of the Pyxis product portfolio and embedded operating systems
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of direct PLM role or PLM-focused project experience
- 3 years of experience launching products and managing full product lifecycles
- Experience executing End-of-Life (EOL) processes
- Experience managing third-party software and hardware throughout the full lifecycle
