Job Description:

• Controller – Construction Industry experience required.
• Seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in the construction and restoration industry.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing financial operations for a project-based business.

Highly Proficient In:

• Construction accounting and financial management.
• Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and job costing.
• Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting.
• Accrual-based accounting and month-end close processes.
• Revenue recognition for long-term construction contracts.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Internal controls and process improvement.
• Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with construction ERP/accounting systems and project management software.
• The candidate should be capable of partnering with operations leadership to provide accurate job cost reporting, profitability analysis, and financial insights that support decision-making in a growing construction company.
• CPA designation and experience with multi-entity organizations are preferred.
