Job Description:
- Controller – Construction Industry experience required.
- Seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in the construction and restoration industry.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing financial operations for a project-based business.
Highly Proficient In:
- Construction accounting and financial management.
- Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and job costing.
- Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting.
- Accrual-based accounting and month-end close processes.
- Revenue recognition for long-term construction contracts.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Internal controls and process improvement.
- Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Experience with construction ERP/accounting systems and project management software.
- The candidate should be capable of partnering with operations leadership to provide accurate job cost reporting, profitability analysis, and financial insights that support decision-making in a growing construction company.
- CPA designation and experience with multi-entity organizations are preferred.
