Our client provides automated, cloud-based software for financial operations, and seeks an accomplished Accounting Manager – Rewards & Incentives Programs.

Job Overview:

Client is looking for an accounting manager strongly focused on accounting and operational support for a Credit Card Rewards Program. The role requires a strong blend of technical accounting expertise, large-scale data management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of accounting experience at a manager level
• Strong experience with:
• Month-end close processes
• Account reconciliations
• Large datasets (10K records/customers)
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume accounting programs (e.g., rewards, incentives, liabilities)
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Experience with SOX compliance (required)
• Excellent communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders
• Highly detail-oriented and proactive

Preferred Skills:

• CPA (strongly preferred)
• Big 4 or Public Accounting background
• Experience with: NetSuite (ERP) o Blackline (reconciliation tool)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close processes, including reward liability calculations (40–50%)
• Perform complex reconciliations and ensure accuracy across large datasets
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, FP&A, Product, and Ops teams (20–30%)
• Handle inquiries and oversee internal accounting processes (20–30%)
• Support and manage high-volume accounting operations related to rewards/incentive programs.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.
