New Business Life Representative
Job Description:
A New Business Life Representative plays a critical role in our company's ability to quickly and accurately issue life Insurance policies. This role is responsible for onboarding applications, issuing policies and handling other New Business-related administrative processes within the established guidelines and service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Index and submit application information into our administrative systems to expedite service to agents and applicants
- Review, make decisions and take appropriate actions to issue/close and process funding sources within acceptable time service standards
- Respond to phone calls from internal customers and agents, and correspond accordingly
- Facilitate phone applications, interviews and follow ups, under department guidelines
- Various other duties based on department needs and individual capacity –reporting, quality, testing, special assignments, projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior experience working in insurance administrative processing is preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to multi-task to process multiple and complex transactions
- Comprehension of processes and systems
- Ability to be a team player (foster mutual respect in your dealings with others)
Education:
Four year college degree or high school degree with equivalent work experience.
