Essential Responsibilities
The Manager of Business and Quality Analysts is responsible for leading and developing a cross-functional team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Quality Analysts (QAs) to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business goals. This role provides strategic oversight, fosters best practices in requirements management and testing, and ensures continuous improvement in delivery standards and collaboration across teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team of BAs and QAs including performance, coaching, and career development
- Coordinate resource planning and project prioritization
- Oversee the business analysis process, ensuring clear, actionable, and prioritized requirements
- Guide the quality assurance function, driving test strategy, automation adoption, and defect management
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align delivery expectations
- Monitor KPIs for business and QA practices and champion process improvement
- 5–7 years of experience in business analysis and/or QA, with 2–3 years in a leadership capacity
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services domains
- Strong understanding of both business analysis and software testing disciplines
- Understanding of SDLC and project methodologies
- Strong Leadership and team development, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Evaluate and evolve internal processes for efficiency and quality
- Four year college degree or equivalent years of experience
