Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housekeeping services, creating a welcoming environment for clients through meticulous cleaning, organization, and attention to detail. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across all areas of the residence
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and using appropriate cleaning equipment for different flooring types
• Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety standards
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper techniques to prevent injury
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service during each visit

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience beneficial
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools
• Ability to implement cleaning procedures that meet sanitation standards while maintaining efficiency in time management
• Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during routine duties
• Knowledge of cleaning products including various detergents and disinfectants for different surfaces

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
