Description for Local Flatbed Driver:
- Operate a 26 ft flatbed truck on local delivery routes throughout the Kent and North End areas.
- Transport building materials to retail customers, ensuring safe handling and securement of all loads.
- Maintain a professional, customer-facing presence at all delivery locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete basic delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure on-time performance.
Details for Local Flatbed Driver:
- Pay: $22.00 – $27.50/hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (Typical)
- Shift Hours: Day Shift (Home Daily)
Requirements for Local Flatbed Driver:
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid Non-CDL / Class C driver's license.
- Must possess a DOT medical card (or have the ability to obtain one).
- Clean driving record is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flatbed or delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
