Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of IT products and applications aligned with business needs
- Act as Product Owner across the full product lifecycle
- Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, vendors, and agencies for solution delivery
- Define product scope, maintain backlogs, and manage roadmaps
- Oversee product releases, performance, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with governance, state, and federal requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and SLAs
- Handle product financials including budgeting and reporting
- Lead cross-functional (fusion) teams and support agile delivery
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder presentations
- Drive continuous improvement using metrics and user feedback
Required Skills & Experience Summary
- 5 years of experience in project management, including planning and managing scope, budget, timelines, resources, and coordinating project activities
- 2 years of experience in product ownership and portfolio management
- 5 years of experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and cross-team communication
- 5 years of strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and related methodologies
- 5 years of experience in vendor partnership and relationship management
- 5 years of experience in producing high-quality documentation (project plans, status reports, user stories, process maps, presentations)
- 5 years of strong communication skills, effectively engaging technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
- 3 years of experience guiding Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and user story development
- 3 years of experience in IT vendor management
