Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with 2 years of experience for an acute care Ultrasound unit requiring ARDMS and RVT certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Ultrasound department
- 12-hour day shifts, including Friday (6:30a-7p or 8a-8:30p) and weekends (6:30a-7p)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Rotation of call and holidays required
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer required
- ARDMS certification required
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration
- Must disclose any background check findings at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Returning travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than a year without taking a 2-year break
- First-time travelers may be considered
