Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a General Sonography/Ultrasound position requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and a minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
Details
- Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting performing general and specialty obstetric/gynecologic ultrasound
- Caseload of approximately 15–18 scans per day
- Procedures include transvaginal GYN scans, US-guided procedures, obstetric ultrasound (viability, growth, biophysical profile, cervical length, Doppler)
- Charting in Epic and OB Server
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekend requirement
- Floating may be required to LVPG OB/GYN office locations in Allentown and Bethlehem as needed
- Availability to cover call-outs is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound
- Active ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required
- BLS required
- Proficiency in transvaginal GYN scans, US-guided procedures, and obstetric ultrasound including viability, growth scans, biophysical profiles, cervical length, and Doppler studies
- MFM experience highly preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable

- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
- Black scrubs required
