American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) with a minimum of 3 years of MFM ultrasound experience and active ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
Details- Outpatient clinic setting on the 3rd floor of a physician office/clinic, specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Patient population includes ambulatory and hospitalized OB/GYN patients across a broad age range, from newborn through geriatric
- Procedures include routine and complex OB/GYN sonographic imaging specific to MFM, including assessment and diagnosis of pregnancy conditions
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call may be required per department need
- 13-week contract in Temple, TX
- Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound
- Active BLS certification (AHA only)
- Active ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN (OB) certifications required
- Fetal Echo (FE) experience preferred but not required
- TX license required if applicable
- Must be able to work independently without routine oversight
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Flu shot required; no exemptions granted
- Performs high-quality ultrasound imaging per established exam protocols, maintaining production and quality standards
- Responsible for patient preparation, positioning, equipment adjustment, and obtaining diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation
- Maintains accurate medical imaging records and relevant documentation including patient history, consent forms, and shielding precautions
- Adheres to safety, infection-control, and sterile technique requirements for invasive multimodality procedures
- May serve as preceptor for new team members on new services and initiatives
- Any solid-color scrubs required; no inappropriate prints
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted
