Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience and CRCST or CER certification for a 13-week assignment at a Colorado facility.
Details
- Monday–Friday schedule, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Works within a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) supporting surgical and patient care instrumentation needs
- Assists with endoscopy procedures in coordination with clinical operations
- Responsible for stocking and ordering supplies for the unit
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience required
- CRCST or CER certification required
- Active state license required, if applicable
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Additional Information
- Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes instruments used for surgical procedures and patient care
- Performs daily biological and sterile supply testing and maintains required logs
- Organizes and directs instrument needs across facility units
- Works in accordance with AORN, AAMI, HSPA, and CER standards
- Expected to complete competencies based on facility and industry guidelines
- Collaborates cross-departmentally to support patient safety and communication
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; the area is known for very high housing costs — affordable options may be found in nearby towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs
