American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2 years of experience, ACLS certification, and a KY or compact RN license.
Details- 34-bed Stepdown/PCU unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Charting performed in Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Active RN license in KY or a compact state currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of current Stepdown/PCU experience required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
- Schedules follow a 36/48-hour structure across a two-week pay period
- Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and staffing
