Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring 2 years of PACU experience and active Epic proficiency.
Details
- PACU position within a 104-bed short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center
- Candidate must be able to work in pre-op, post-op, and PACU areas
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:00)
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Charting performed using Epic EMR
- Free on-site parking available
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs of any color are permitted
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; limited time-off requests may be considered
