Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a fast-paced surgical services department requiring hip, joint, and knee procedure experience.
Details
- Operating Room unit performing 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures annually across a full spectrum of specialties
- Focus on general elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures
- Day shift schedule combining two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) per week
- On-call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) within a 28-day schedule
- Circulating nurse role supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians during procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license (MI) required, compact license not accepted
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
- Required experience with hip, joint, and knee procedures
- Travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Monitor surgical procedures and patient health and safety throughout operations
- Work alongside certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialized OR staff
- Must reside outside a 35-mile radius of the facility to qualify for full travel rate
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
