Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience with expertise in Neuro and Ortho procedures.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital OR/surgical unit
- Neuro and Ortho cases make up the majority of the caseload; robotics experience is also utilized
- Travelers must be versatile and experienced across multiple OR specialties
- Schedule is 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (0630–1900)
- Call is required
- Charting is done in Cerner
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not be expired)
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
- Expertise in Neuro and Ortho surgical cases required
- Robotics experience preferred
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who have worked at this health system must have taken a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to offer — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
