Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Dialysis position at a Vermont outpatient dialysis facility, requiring Epic experience and a flexible rotating schedule including Saturdays.

- Chronic outpatient dialysis unit setting
- Unit operates Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Shifts are a rotating mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Day and evening shifts available
- Required to work every other Saturday, with potential Saturday coverage at a second nearby location in Berlin, VT
- Patient ratio of 1:9
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating is not required
- Epic EMR experience is required; must have been used within the past 2 years
Requirements
- Active RN license — VT or Compact license accepted; NY license accepted with proof of pending licensure included
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of dialysis RN experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
- Reliable personal transportation is required — public transportation is not accessible in this area; all-season or snow tires strongly recommended November through April
- Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor are required — at least one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All work history must include bed count, EMR used, facility type, and trauma level; employment gaps over 30 days must be explained
Additional Information
- 13-week contract in Rutland, VT, with potential Saturday shifts at a satellite location in Berlin, VT
- Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- Pay rate is tiered based on distance from the facility: travel rate applies at 101 miles, radius rate at 51–100 miles, and local rate at 50 miles or less
- Religious or medical exemption documentation must be included if applicable
