Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR (Operating Room) position at an acute care facility in West Virginia, requiring at least 2 years of circulating experience and a valid WV or compact RN license.

- Acute care hospital OR setting
- Surgical specialties include general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty
- Circulating experience is central to daily OR responsibilities
- EMR: TruBridge - Evident
- Standard shift is 8 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Call responsibilities cover evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 6–8 call days per month
- No routine weekend or holiday shifts outside of call obligations
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WV or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
- BSN not required
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference (if permanent employment within the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility)
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
- Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
